Hi there, I'm Helena, a wedding photographer for the in love. I'm also a mother to a beautiful little boy! If I'm not photographing your wedding, I'm most likely taking on a diy project or enjoying anything outdoors. I find the most peace when I'm spending time with family and friends. I'm a huge lover of slow Sundays, pretending to have a green thumb, jamming out to my no-shame country music obsession, good books and true crime podcasts.
P.s. I'll likely cry at your wedding like it's my own.

When I tell people that I'm a wedding photographer, I get one of two questions.
1. Are you not stressed photographing such big moments?
2. How did you get started in that?
So, I'll answer both! Just like any job - it get's easier over time as you learn what you can control. I can't control the weather but I can control the experience you get from me the day of! You can plan all you want but you have to know that the day is going to happen regardless of rain, decor mistakes, and mishaps!
How did I get started? Honestly, I've always been a creative person. But one day I decided to get a camera! I learned more about photography and became passionate about it. I worked under other photographers for experience and everything fell into place over time! And what a blessing it has been.

Born and raised in Mississippi, she's more than ready to travel anywhere to capture your wedding day. Her main priority is giving you a stress free day without feeling like a camera is in your face the entire time. She loves true to life color and finding the beauty in all of the small things. Throughout a wedding day her focus is whatever is most important to the couple. She loves a mix of candid, posed and prompted photography.
Helena started photography in 2016 as a hobby of taking pictures of friends and family. This hobby quickly grew into a passion then into a business that has allowed her to witness so many beautiful moments - moments that very few people get to be a part of. She's incredibly grateful for all of the couples that trust her to capture those. With every wedding, her knowledge grows. She is always seeking to learn and expand her experience.
If she's not at wedding you can find her at the gym, spending time with her son, trying out a new hobby or on a walk with her dogs. Just like at weddings, she prefers a calm and slow life finding joy in the mundane. She has a love for antiques and spends countless hours on Pinterest searching for the next DIY project - big or small.

She has a new love for photography and soaking up all the knowledge that comes quickly on a wedding day. She has been able to serve so many wonderful couples alongside of Helena and looking forward to many more!
Outside of photography, you'll probably find her running, reading, baking, or spending time with her beloved pets and husband.

When she's not behind the camera, you can expect her to be with family, chasing around her little one, baking, cooking and enjoying the everyday moments at home.
